Powershot A-95 blank screen not taking snap

Hi, Recently this snag appeared in my A 95. it was working perfectly fine and all of a sudden one day when i tried to take snaps the screen is blank! I can see the menu options around the display (menu icons for flash, zoom etc) but when I am taking smap just blank dark black snaps are coming. I can scroll and see the previous snaps. Canon powershot sd1200is--suddenly won't take pictures. power on, screen black. camera was working fine, then not at all.

Reset the camera. Go to menu button, the arrow right to settings and tools, scroll all the way down to RESET settings. Hit Func/Set button to bring up reset option, arrow right to OK and hit Func/Set again to say yes. Camera should have picture again.....at least this is what we did to fix a camera that did that to us. good luck

Canon powershot SD1200 IS says Memory Card Error

You probably just need to format the card in the camera. This will completely erase it so download any pictures you want to save first.

Fuzzy screen

I have exactly the same problem with my W880i. Suddenly, one day, out of the blue it went half and half, the right side completely blank(yet still with the back light on - I think - ). And a few months later (now). It suddenly randomly went completely blank - back light definitely on -. It happened today, and I am desperately searching for a solution. If I take the battery out, put it back in, turn it on, I can feel the vibrate, and notice a slight change in colour on the screen. But it stays completely blank, and hasn't changed in hours. So ANY help would be appreciated.

LED display on powershot a630 is very dark. It was working fine, and then when I moved the display it suddenly went dark

pershaps that the cable inside to power the lcd is defect. or it could also be that the backlight is defect . those things can be repaired (don't do it your self) but costs could well be higher than buying a new camera
