Hello, it would be better if u mention the type of PCI devices. any way, i think there must be other free pci slots on ur mainboard. try inserting the device to other free slots. Or use the same device to other working pc. hope it helps.

Multiple devices don't work after XP reinstall.

When you install a operating system, all the hardware drivers must be installed. Such as, chipset, graphics, Ethernet, modem, or what ever hardware you have.

So you need to go to the website of lenovo and download all the drivers
for your operating system, if the pc came with vista, and you put on xp,
they might not offer the drivers for xp, so you will have to look at every piece of hardware and go to there website and get the xp drivers.
This is the best way.

Or you can let windows find them for you.

See where the yellow shields are, click on the + sign and you will see the hardware,

now right click on the hardware and in the little window choose
Update Driver Software, then tell it to search the internet for the driver.

It will walk you through it , each page whan you click next.

Any more questions just post back.

Bought an 8 port pci x4 sata controller card popped it in and i believe that its using the same irq as the logitech wiress keyboard and mouse. Can't find a way to manually set the irq in vista ultimate....

Hi,
The first and simplest thing to do is reset your bios to default, then by using your keyboard controls, go to your device manager and uninstall 5 to 10 devices from your system. Reboot your system and allow Windows to reinstall and configure the uninstalled devices. This works about 80% of the time to sort out unchangeable IRQ issues.
Best wishes,

My computer audio gateway speaker stop responding

First Insure that the plugs are in the proper ports of the computer. Second, go to Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager, Look up to see that the Audio Drivers are functioning Properly. If not, then you will need to search and download the proper drivers for the Audio Device you have, Whether its on board audio, or a PCI Card, you will need to insure that you have the right drivers for it. If you have more information about the type of Audio Device for your computer, please respond with that information and I can troubleshoot with more detail.
