Majority of phones... when you are in the PHONE screen , just
Press the "+" button on the upper left side of the Phone. The Ringer screen will appear, superimposed on top of the screen you most recently used. Click the "+" button one time to raise the volume one level. Continue clicking the "+" button to raise the ringer volume higher until its at the maximum level...or however loud you want it.
This is a guess because I only have 4 7625's in my customer base, but in an idle 7630/33/36 phone, you can press the Navigator up or down button and the ringer volume will raise or lower. In the display phones, you actually can press it down 5 times and the ringer will turn off.
You may just have the phone's ringer at a very low volume or on vibrate. Just raise the ringer volume and you'll be able to hear everything. If you're listening to a mp3, pause it and try to raise the ringer volume.
Typicallly if you press the volume up button while the phone is in the cradle it will raise the ringer volume. If you press the talk button and then press the volume, it will increase the audio volume of the call.
Normally to raise the ringer volume you have to press the center button on the phone going upward. and you can only do this while the phone is not on a call. The volume of the ringer should go up...
To turn your ringer back on, you do the following. For your handset, you push Menu, scroll to ringer settings, then push select, Press select again for ringer volume, then scroll up to turn on and increase the ringer volume. Then press Save once its at the desired volume. To change your base ringer, while it is not in use, push the ringer up button until you hear the desired setting. That should fix your problems.
