You could have a clogged hose, afterfilter, or worn/broken control valve assembly.
1. To check the filter, press the tab located at the bottom of the tool holder/air diffuser. See photo below. Lift air diffuser. There may or not be a filter here. If there is, remove it, then check machine operation.
2. Disconnect hose form canister. Turn on machine. Place hand over intake. If the machine turns off during this process, the control valve assembly is broken or worn out. Replacement needs to be done at an authorized Aerus franchise service center.
3. To check the hose, disconnect both ends. Drop a marble or similar size item in one end and allow to roll out the other. If it doesn't, the hose is clogged. This will cause the machine to shut off as well.
