LCD light broke after one day

I bought this clock yesterday. When first used it, it worked perfectly. I had to move it to a different room, and when I plugged it in the LCD light was off, and there is no on/off switch to it. Is there anything I can do before I exchange it?

Probably something came loose inside. Most likely the wire that powers the lcd came loose. It's possible it shorted out too. Personally I'd return it and not take it apart. If you can't fix it you'll void the warranty and the store might not return it if they see it's be disassembled. You're better off exchanging it since it's already had an issue after one day. It may be an indication of the workmanship of that unit in regards to it's longevity. I hope this has explained your question in detail. If I've helped you please don't forget to rate me. Peter

Display not bright enough on Bose AWR1-1W clock radio

Yes...within a range. The display will automatically lighten and darken depending on the amount of light in the room. During the day or when there are bright lights in the room, the display will go to full brightness. When the lights go off or the room is otherwise darkened, the display will shift down to a lower brightness. You can make the "lower brightness" a bit brighter by holding down the CLOCK SET button and pressing the 'volume up' button.

I just moved in to my college dorm yesterday and you have to use an ethernet cord for internet in my room. So I bought one, and when I plug it into the wall and into my computer, the ethernet port has a...

The lights means the port is active and working. Does the lan connection show as connected on the computer, what IP are you getting if any? Does the college use a proxy?

I Need HELP. I have two patients living with me.

First make sure the filters are clean. Then see if the compressor is running. If it isn't make sure its got power to it. If its got power then you can check the capacitor. Also check for any overloads that may need to be reset. Make sure all the fans are running. There should be at least 2. If everything is working then you may need to have the refrigerant charge checked. Does it have any trouble lights? The circuit board may have some LED's that blink to give a trouble code. Let me know what you find.

Just installed a T101. Unit will not switch to on position works perfectly to off position. Can it be adjusted.

Yes.

Programming Instructions for the Intermatic T101 - 24 Hr. Dial Time Switch:
1. TO SET ON AND OFF TIMES: Hold trippers agains edge of clock-dial, pointing to time (AM or PM) when ON and OFF operations are desired, tighten tripper screws firmly. For additional tripper pairs on CLOCK-DIAL order 156T1978A.

2. TO SET TIME-OF-DAY: Pull CLOCK-DIAL outward. Turn in either direction and align the exact time-of-day on the CLOCK-DIAL (the time now, when switch is being put into operation) to the pointer. DO NOT MOVE POINTER.

Operating Instructions:
* To operate switch manually: move manual lever below clock-dial left or right as indicate by arrows (graphics) This will not efect next operation.
* In case of power failure, reset clock-dial to proper time-of-day. See Programing Instructions (top lines).

Good luck (reemmber rated this help).

No sound

other than just double checking your switches settings there really isn't much you can do ,as there really isn't any easy to replace parts inside and that would be cost prohibitive anyhow , but do remember it is a clock radio , if its set t o use the alarm the radio will not work and not the cd either , ck all your switches for proper setting , one may have got bumped by you or cleaning staff
this is the reason I use a sound bar/phone dock as I use it to charge my phone and play music all day at my desk , they only cost about fifteen bucks to buy , and best thing is there's nothing for anyone to mess with when im not there as it wont work without my phone docked in it !!
