Pairing I am able to pair any other ear piece but my h700 with my lg8600....... my h700 pairs with every other phone but my new LG..... I am pairing it fine and then when it asks me to enter the password which is either 0000 or 1234 it says pairing has failed.......

i have the t-mobile dash. i can get the motorola h700 to find the headset, but the passwords 0000 or 1234 do not work. Please advise.

will not stop saying when prompted 0000. has already paired with phone.

I need to know the bluetooth pairing code for sanyo M1

Well I know for sure the default pin for the M1 is indeed 0000. However I cannot tell you what the pin would be for your specific bluetooth dongle. If I where you I would try 0000, 1111, 2222 and so on

As with all Bluetooth headsets, the H700 needs to be paired with the device before it can be used, which is done in pairing mode. In pairing mode, the H700 makes a transmission so that Bluetooth-enabled devices can pick up the device and connect to the headset. Once connected, no other device can connect with the Bluetooth headset. To enter pairing mode on the H700, open the headset boom located near the microphone. After a few seconds the indicator light will turn purple. Once purple, the H700 is in pairing mode.

Searching for the Device With the M1

Once the H700 is in pairing mode, have the M1 search for Bluetooth devices. To do this, press "MENU/OK" and choose "Tools," "Bluetooth," "Add New" and "Search." A list of Bluetooth devices will show up on the screen. Highlight "Motorola H700" and press "MENU/OK." Choose "Add to Trusted," enter "0000" and press "MENU/OK." The devices are now connected and ready to be tested.

Testing the Devices

Once the devices are connected, test that both the phone and the headset are working properly together. First, place the headset in your ear. Dial a number on the phone and press "Send." If you can hear ringing, the devices are connected properly and ready for use.
If the connection was not successful, repeat the previous steps and try again. Make sure the indicator light is glowing purple and is steady. If you have connected the headset to a previous device, make sure that device is turned off so as not to interfere with the connection procedure. Once the other device is off, close and reopen the boom to enter pairing mode.

0000 does not work as a passcode to pair my H700 to my LG phone. I have also tried 1234 and every other combo. What is wrong

The default code is either 0000 or 00000. That is, four or five zeroes.
You can set a new pairing pass code once you connect it to your phone by changing the pairing code from under the connected devices settings in your bluetooth menu.

Need generic pass key for H700

open boom on ear piece
turn on bluetooth on phone and go to paired devices
hold button on ear piece till lite turns purple
under paired devices click connect
0000 is the pass key
should work

Motorola H700 won't pair with LG CU720 phone

You will need to enter pairing mode on your device. The H700 User Manual indicates that you do so by first turning off any previously paired device and opening the headset BOOM. The indicator light should light a steady purple while in pairing mode.

You may not need to turn off your phone if you do not desire this, you may be able to get by turning the blue tooth function off and on, on your phone and attempt to pair again.

Pairing Pin is likely 0000.

H700 bluetooth ear piece - Pairing with new phone

Press and hold the call button while the boom is in the off position for 4 to 5 seconds. The blue indicator light should come on and stay on. The unit is now in pairing mode. Initiate you phones feature of searching for bluetooth devices and pair the two together. The default passcode for the H700 is "0000" four zeros.

H700 not working properly

I had the same problem with my Razor and the H700. I removed the device from the phone and reinstalled and that fixed the pairing probelm...Now I have another problem. I can hear the party I'm talking to just fine but no onee can hear me...this is my second Motorola ear piece and I've had the same problem twice...I think its a microphone problem...anyway, try to unistall and then reinstall the ear piece, that should fix your problem

Motorola H700 Problems with BB Pearl 8100

Steps to pair a H700 headset with any bleutooth pone:

Make sure the H700 fully chared (very important)!!
Make sure the microphone boom is folded closed, i.e. power is off!
Hold the call button for 1-5 seconds until the light is steady lit purple
Flip out the microphone boom, the light should stay lit purple!

Now you are ready to pair the headset with your phone, so follow the pairing instructions of your phone.

Note: When prompted for the Passkey; it is most likely 0000 but the correct Passkey should be on the headset accessory instructions.

I must add that indeed my headset on occation (once or twice every three months) also loses its connection with the blackberry (a 8703e) . At which time I have to remove the headset from my phone bluetooth device list, and start the above described steps to pair my headset with the phone again.
