Help with my keyboard connection

I am trying to install cordless keyboard and mouse to use with my PC. I got it from a person who was using a windows Win XP OS and I have the same OS. No manual or software but I got the driver online The mouse works but the keyboard doesn't work. When I go to the configuration and press the connect buttom it give me the mgs (to connect to a new device insert battery and press its connec/channel buttom) I don't see any connect buttom on this keyboard. Wherre is the connection buttom on this keyboard? I tried to use the connect button on the mouce and the one on the receiver but still no connection. Any idea woud be very appreciated.

I found the connector. I is on the side of the keyboard not the place one could figure that easily if no manual available.

I have the iTouch keyboard/mouse. I have not used the older system it is on for a while. I can connect the keyboard which of the two (mouse/keyboard) is the only one with a connect button. I hold the connect on the transmitter and the keyboard lights flash and the keyboard works, the mouse does not. I have downloaded updated SW for the device but the mouse still will not connect. I have changed the batteries and rebooted each time I have tried something new. I can make a USB mouse work with the wireless keyboard but that's it. Are there installation instructions located anywhere online???

    Thanks for the help,
    Jack

SarahNJ,

My son's computer (Dell Latitude) had the same type of problems. Best junk iTouch. It might work well on an Apple or iPhone, but it sure does not work very well on the rest of the world's PC(s) or PDA(s).

Sincerely,

IGNORE mgs "to connect to a new device insert battery and press its connec/channel buttom" - pressing the CONNECT button (right side of the keyboard) simultaneously with the TRANSMITTER button will do the job.

The keyboard must still be connected to the back of the computer. The keyboard is only wireless to the transmitter. Check line of sight to transmitter. Double check all connections (wires) to the computer. Unless something is damage most all wireless keyb are quite reliable.

SOURCE: help to connect the cordless itouch keyboard

I had one of these if it is the same model it is on the right hand edge (not on the underside not on the top) between where the number pad is but below the indicator panel, the button is small and I think red and recessed(so you need to use a biro, or such like to press it) silly place to put it, most keyboard connects are on the bottom now

Logitesh lx300 cordless mouse and keyboard

try reinstalling the drivers. initially though, press the connect button on the usb dongle. then press the connect button on the mouse and then on the keyboard. if anything this should let you connect the mouse to let you install the drivers. the drivers will then automatically install.

Can't get acer desktop to recognize logitech cordless mouse

Yes, you need to install the Logitech transmitter for your cordless mouse. The acer transmitter uses a different frequency. You could try pressing the connect button on both the existing transmitter and mouse but that's not likely to work with different manufacturers.

Cordless Mouse & Keyboard install I need help

if you have a disc for the new items ,install first, shut down pc, then take the old mouse & keyboard off connect the new wireless ones before rebooting
you may need to sync the mouse & keyboard by holding in the small little button on each item and the reciever unit untill the lights come on indicating it is recieving the signals from both mouse & keyboard.if this does not work put the old mouse back in reboot then go into control panel / mouse, and sellect wireless mouse ,turn off the pc plug the new mouse back in then boot up

good luck

Logitech cordless mouse and keyboard installation

You probably already done this but try pressing the receiver button and while it is flashing turn the board over and press the small reset/connect button on the bottom of the board and also the reset/connect button on the bottom of the mouse. It should work okay after that. here is hoping that helps. Bud
