Fan noise kenmore range

The oven fan is making a loud noise. Even when we preheat it immediately starts. It doesn't sound like the blade is hitting anything but it does sound louder than usual and starts immediately, even with a low temperature selected, and does not stop until well after the oven has been turned off. It started after I broiled something on High for 5 minutes. Today, I baked something at 350 and it turned on immediately again.

SOURCE: propane coversion of kenmore 790 gas range

Most gas stoves are shipped for natural gas .You need to check the orifice on each burner to see if they are for natural gas or propane. If you ordered propane the stove should have been shipped with the orifices. They may be in a bag with your stove documents.

SOURCE: Oven will not heat

Since bake and broil use different elements, and it is unlikely both went out at once, and then I would suspect the switch instead of the elements.

SOURCE: kenmore gas range will not stop beeping showing F9 in window

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

Unit makes a loud rattling noise when operating

Hello, most likely the fan blade is either loose or cracked at the hub causing the blade to hit the fan shroud. You will either have tighten the fan blade or have to get a replacement.

Traeger junior 2 weeks old dosen't seem to make loud fan noise when starting up , seems like during grilling last night made funny noise like bad bearing or something cleaned grill empted fire pot and...

Take and unplug your electrical cord and then take the bottom grate that covers your motors and components off. The are 4 small screws and then it should drop down. Look to see that there are not any wires hitting your fan motors. You can just reach up there and move them around if they are. Some Treagers seem to have some noise until you use them a little. They have a 3 year warrenty, so if the wires are not hitting the fan blades, I would use it and see what happens.

Why does my Jenn Air convection oven make such a LOUD clattery/ticking noise whenever I use it? I think it must be the fan...can you help?

If you can get at the fan blades without taking anything apart, try to turn the fan blade by using a small screwdriver or even a small wooden skewer. Listen to see if the blades are making contact with either fan cover or the back of the oven or the edges of the convection opening.

Once you determine which blade(s) are making contact, use a sharpie marker to mark those blades you need to correct. That way if the blades are hitting the fan cover, you'll know which ones need to be bent back into shape once the cover is removed.

With the oven turned off, you should be able to remove the circulating fan cover and correctly bend the fan blades back into shape and stop the noise.

Hope you found this very helpful and best regards!
