Question about Canon Pixma MP500 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I keep reading that my printer can do transparencies, but I don't know which paper setting to choose for this media. I don't want to waste my transparency film if I can help it. For that matter, has anyone printed on inkjet shrink film? What setting did you use? Anyone know?
make sure you are using transparencies made for your type of printer. eg:...DO NOT use laser transparencies on an inkjet. and visa versa...
You dont say what kind of printer you have so I cant help too much. Let me know what type of printer you have....make ..model...etc...
and what software you are using.

Manual does not mention Transparencies.
Manual states that It will print T-shirt transfers:
T-Shirt Transfers TR-301
This paper is used to create iron-on transfers. The image is printed inverted.
Paper Support Load Limit: 1 sheet
Paper Output Tray Load Limit:
We recommend that you remove the previously printed sheet from the Paper Output Tray before continuously printing to avoid blurs and discoloration.
Paper Thickness Lever: Right
Printer Driver Setting: T-Shirt Transfers
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

Go to the printing preference in your software driver and to the right you should see a "media type" radio button.Look through your choices and you should see a category for tranparencies.
Also make sure the the box under the media type shows auto sheet feeder.
