It sounds like you need a new battery and/or battery charger. I had the same problem with a simular camera before and just replaced both the charger and the battery because I wasn't sure which one of them was faulty. I haven't had a problem since then. I bought them from the website www.needbattery.com the company guaranteed thier batteries for a year and thier price was the cheapest on and off the internet that I could find. They have both batteries and chargers for your specific camera. This should take care of your problem. Hope this helps

I've now had 2 Casio EX-Z75 batteries do the same thing- red flashing light on the charger. Exchanged the first camera. On the second one, the battery took the initial charge, but when charged again, the charger flashed red and there was no charge. So I called Casio (a live person answered immediately..hooray!) and they indicated this was a "known problem" and are sending a new battery. <Keeping my original receipt within reach!>

This may mean a dud battery or a faulty connection or many other things - you will simply have to check out with the camera makers web customer support to discover which it is on that particular charger

My JBL CHARE wont charge it will only flash a red light

I assume you mean a JBL Charge. As for that specific model I am unfamiliar, however if when you try to charge electronics they will only flash a red light that's usually a battery or charger error signal. Most likely either a battery in the battery pack has gone bad, a contact has come loose or your charger has broken. Did you happen to drop it shortly before this error occurred? Also was the battery completely dead right before this happened? Sometimes I have noticed wireless devices will refuse to charge a battery if it is completely drained.

Red light on charger flashes. battery doesnt seem to charge.

If the red light is flashing rapidly it means that your charger has determined that your battery pack is in need of replacement and a safety circuit will not allow it to be charged. You may have an actual fault in the pack OR it may just mean that you have allowed the pack to discharge below the manufacturer's recommendations and the safety circuit has been fooled into thinking that the pack is defective. You need to decide which scenario is more likely correct. Using a DC voltmeter, determine if the battery pack has any voltage at all and which connections are positive and negative. If there is zero voltage, then you probably should go shopping and send your current battery to a recycler. If the battery pack does show some voltage, that is a good sign. TRY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! You can attempt to partially charge the battery pack (while not in the charger and not in the tool) by using test leads to connect it pos-to-pos and neg-to-neg to a fully charged battery of similar voltage/amperage. Only connect them together for a couple of minutes. Remove the leads and test with the DC voltmeter again to see if voltage in the questionable battery pack has increased by more than a volt or two. If so, it is still taking a charge. Move it back to its charger to see if there is now sufficient voltage to not trigger the safety circuit and allow it to charge normally. Wear eye protection. Don't cross leads. Don't try this on an obviously damaged battery or one that feels hot.

Why is the green light blinking on the ryobi battery charger

please check if the RED LED light is flashing or not. If yes, this battery may defective.

If defective, try to repeat the conditions a second time by removing and reinstalling the battery pack. If the LED status repeats a second time, try charging a different battery.

If a different battery charger normally, dispose of the defective pack.

If a different battery also indicates "Defective", the charger may be defective.

Dewalt de0245

These de0245 chargers are designed to detect certain problems that can arise with battery packs which would be indicated by the red light flashing at a fast rate.

If this occurs, re-insert battery pack. If problem persists, try a different battery pack to determine if the charger is OK. If the new battery charges correctly, then the original pack is defective and should be returned to a service centre for recycling.

If the new battery pack gives the same trouble indication as the original, have the charger tested at an Authorised Service Centre.

Ryobi charger model # 140295003 has a red and yellow light. When charging red light is on what does the yellow light mean? Also how long should the battery be left in the charger?

Hi,

The yellow light means that there still is an amount of charge on the battery, meaning that it isn't fully discharged. The red light means that it is partly discharged and you can charge it up.

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,

What does flashing red light on wii dock charging station mean??

Make sure that when charging the battery pack it must be attached to a wii-mote otherwise this may cause a flashing red light. If the battery pack is attached to the wii-mote and you still have a flashing red light this may indicate that there could a problem with the battery pack itself.

HELLO: OUR MILWAUKEE 48-59-2401 BATTERY CHARGER IS NOT CHARGING OUR 48-11-2401 BATTERY PACKS. WHEN YOU RUN THE PACK DOWN TO 1 OR 2 LIGHTS & PUT IT IN THE CHARGER BOTH RED & GREEN LIGHTS FLASH....

If both lights are flashing after you put a cool battery on the charger, the battery is bad. It could have a bad, worn or shorted cell or other problems inside and the charge will not charge it as long as it reads it as a bad battery. Rechargable batteries do have a finite life determined mainly by how many times you recharge them.

My glowbouy flashes green and red...what does this mean

According to the owners manual for these swimming pool lights, this is what each colored indicator means. Hope this helps.

Solid green
The battery pack is fully charged.
Slow flashing green
The battery pack is almost fully charged.
Slow flashing yellow
The battery pack is half charged.
Medium flashing yellow
The battery pack is less than half charged.
Fast flashing yellow
The battery pack has almost no charge.
Fast flashing red
A charging error has occurred and the light should be unplugged and then plugged back in. If the Fast Flashing Red persists after several attempts, the battery condition is questionable.

Also in the trouble shooting guide, it mentions this:

Problem: Red Indicator Light Is Flashing While Charging

Solution:
A red flashing indicator light when charging indicates a selftest
error condition. Unplug the product and plug it in again.
Try this several times; if the indicator light continues to flash
red, unplug the GlowBuoy and take it to an authorized service
depot.

Dewalt battery charger won't charge

As you know, solid red on your charger means that the battery is fully charged and the BLINKING red light means the battery is charging. Unless the light is blinking irradically everything is working the way it is supposed to. If the light is blinking irradically, the battery may just be too hot or too cold to charge ( like when you are driving many lags and your battery dies) and in this case simply wait 15 minutes to charge. If you get a fast blinking light still, the problem probably is with the battery.
