Normally all parking lights are controlled by the light switch. First turn turn on the parking lights and second turn turns on the head lights.
Are you sure it is not your break lights staying on? if this is your break lights - look at break pedal for break light switch staying on or not adjusted correctly. Does your car battery gets drained from your break lights staying on?
Most likely a bad or low battery or bad connection or bad solenoid or starter or combination of any of them. Those lights will mostly stay on till the engine cranks before going off.
A long time ago, Honda's had a parking lite, believe it or not. You would turn the key all the way past off and remove it to engage the tail lite. To just turn the bike off, take the key out at off if it comes out ok.
have alternator out put checked with engine running should be 13.5 - 14.5 volts.if alternator not faulty could have bad wheel speed sensor or wheel bearing failing.
my 42 inch sagem tv is overheating, the red light comes on, then 2 lights come on and then turns off, and light stays on. and only turns off when you disconnect tv. When i turn on the tv after 1 min the light flashes, the tv turns off and the light stays on.
You may have turned it on ... as in to stay on ... this light normally will stay on for a couple minutes allowing you to get out and away from the car with light ... If you turned it on to stay on ... turn it off.
See if you have fuse under dash or under hood if more fuses in there that is marked DRL , or DRL module. (daytime running light module) may be at fault. Pulling that fuse may isolate problem, otherwise you may have to pull connector off back of light switch to test it.
You have daytime runing lights. When you turn the signal off does it just stay on or does it flash? If it just stays on and you have some light dimming problems, it is more than likely a bad ground on the front signal sockets. This can be repaired by cleaning or replacing the sockets. Another cause of this problem can be traced to bad bulbs,a very easy fix.Good luck Moe
