Sharp selling bad microwaves

Microwave is sparking like it about to blow up only had for 6 months this isnt the microwave i purchased my is stainless steel and is called a carousel and the purchase price was 140 bucks i want answers or a replacement

Paddy paddy paddy i want i want, bet you were spoiled as a child, never continue to use a microwave that sparks, you can only do more damage to the appliance and maybe even worse is this sparking when you use it under normal conditions, place a plastic bowl with cold water in and see if it sparks then, if not then is it something you have done, i assume you know what you can not put in a microwave if sparking occurs anyway, and its only 6 months old, is it under guarantee, then its simple, send it back and ask for free replacement SHOUT AT THE RIGHT PEOPLE DON'T WASTE TIME ON HERE

If there is a carousel... take it out...
if its by the magnatron window,,, then...houston... we have a problem...
might be contamination... and that may require opening up the unit... sorry...
hopefully it's only something floating around in there that's causing the arc...

Sharp R-963 900 Watts Convection / Microwave Oven does not heat
This isn't exactly a solution but information that might help other Sharp product owners.
I acquired a Sharp Combi Microwave oven - an expensive looking stainless steel piece of equipment. All works except the LCD screen. It seems that others have this problem too. I am not sure of the guarantee BUT In the UK I phoned the Trading Standards Officer and his info is very interesting indeed:
Apart from the normal guarantees, any equipment sold should have a normal useful life of 6 YEARS! Therefore if the item has a 'generic or 'inherent' fault the cmpany should repair or replace the item up to the 6 year period.
This was news to me!
Why should companies sell expensive stuff when the is something just waiting to go wrong? They just shrug their shoulders and say it is out of guarantee! In the UK, at least, that is not quite the end of story.
So I intend to chase up Sharp and see what they have to say about the fault on mine.
