SOURCE: How interchangeable are replacement chain bars for

Your question can't be answered as aked.
If your saw requires an Intenz 14" Bar it's Oregon pns 140SDET041 or 140GPET041. Part number 140SDEA041 if not Intenz.
Plug in your requirements here:
Oregon Bar & Chain Selector
http://www.oregonchain.com/commonpgm/Selguide_Selctmfg.asp?BusId=OCS&SellReg=USA&LangId=ENG&ShowRem=Y&ShowAnsi=Y&ShowQuality=Y&ShowCombo=Y&usertype=OCC
Once you get a part number it can easily be converted to other manufacturers numbers. HTH

SOURCE: while cutting the chainsaw bogs down and stops

Check the air filter and the muffler if either are plugged up it will not run smooth. Carb hi and low screws are very sensitive so if you change them, only move them a little at a time.

SOURCE: cant get the cover back on chainsaw

The chain brake should have been released before removing the cover. You will have to release it with a large flat-blade screwdriver in the connector that runs the brake from the control handle. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Need to know the degree to set my electric chain

A 20" bar unfortunately does not narrow it down. Fortunately both the .325 pitch chain and the 3/8 pitch chain sharpen at 25 degrees and you should have one of these chains. Hope this helps.

Hello, I have an old sears 14" electric chainsaw

There should be no adjustments ither than the correct tention, i dont mean to be rude, but you have put the chain back on in the correct direction, the sharp edge of the cutters on the top of the bar going away from the saw, on the bottom of the back coming back to the saw?

Need a manual for a 14" Craftsman electric chain

Use model number 315.34020 which is the same saw w/o power sharp. In fact the 34030 model is mentioned in this manual. I haven't found anything relating to the 34030 model specifically. Oregon products is able to cross reference the saw and find parts for it (less the power sharp feature.)

Poulan 14" electric, model# PLN1514

Hi there, a couple of features come to mind that may be the cause of your problem.

Firstly, make sure that the saw is unplugged from the power supply.
  • The chain brake is active and wont allow sprocket movement and hence the chain. If necessary, pull the front guard (in front of the front handle) back until it clicks.
  • Electric saws generally have an additional motor-stop feature built into the trigger mechanism which is deactivated when the trigger is squeezed. So, in order to move the chain along the bar the trigger needs to be squeezed releasing the motor-stop. A tip - wear gloves when handling chains and move the chain towards the bar tip ie in the direction of the cutters - if the chain suddenly stops you wont remove several layers of skin in the process ! better still use a screwdriver against the back of one of the cutters and move it forwards - there should be some resistance and there should be no slack chain on the underside of the bar. Hope this helps.

I bought a ryobi 14 inch electric chainsaw. Is

Use regular bar/chain oil available from home centers, hardware stores, and saw shops. Always keep the chain properly sharpened and tensioned so that you don't have to force the chain into the cut which causes motor overheating. If you need to make an 'under' cut, do so with the top of the bar--don't run the saw upside down. Good luck!

Craftsman 16 inch cain saw sprocket wont turn

Sounds like the sprocket could be stripped. If so, then you would need to replace the sproket. I suggest you contact Master Parts at 800-466-1446 or online at www.masterparts.net. They may be able to help you.

Wen electric chain saw -is it doa?

Are you pressing the trigger lock with your thumb before you pull the trigger? That's a safety feature to prevent accidental sawing.

There's not a sensor for the oil, but you don't want to run the saw dry. It takes a special bar/chain oil which is thicker than motor oil.

FYI... if you look for a manual on the web, search for "Wagner chainsaw" because Wagner bought the chainsaw business from Wen.
