Woke up this morning and noticed that the sound on my tv is muffled (like talking to a person on the telephone on a windy day). Didn't notice it before today/last night when I watched it. Normally don't have the volume on too high (10-12). The muffling seems to be getting worse as the day goes on. Tried resetting it, but still no change.
Check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. Don't know if people are still having this issue or not but figured I'd post what i went through to help anyone that has. My LN-T3253H tv as out of warranty when I finally got around to calling Samsung. They flat out lied about the commonality of this problem and I convinced them to at least pay for any parts. Problem is the labor of a technician would be around $150. So, I bought the new power supply from Partstore.com for around $70. Just go to partstore.com and enter your model number and look for the power supply on the page. It took 3 days to get the part. It was very easy to replace. All you have to do take off the back cover of the tv (think there were around 12 screws all around the outside and one where the A/V connections are and pull off. Unhook the plugs going to the power supply and the four screws holding the board and then replace with the new board. So far, this fixed the issue. Keep your old board in case it starts happening again. You can probably have the old board repaired to fix the original problem since so many TV repair shops are aware of the issue. I am trying to find out from someone which specific capacitor or other piece is causing the issue and plan on fixing it myself. If and when I do, I will also post that.
Make sure you give Samsung a ton of grief when you speak to them and see if they lie to you also. I had just bought two of the new Samsung LED TV's for my media room. They work great but I returned both because of Samsung's refusal to fix my LN-T3253H and I will never, ever buy Samsung products again.

Unplug TV set from the outlet, wait 30 seconds, plug it back in, select right input with your remote if you using cable box or Punch the channel that you want to watch if you have cable service connected directly to the TV.

You can always turn your TV off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, wait for 30 seconds or so, plug it back in, then turn it back on. If you have kids check the menu options to see if they may have tampered with it unintentionally. If all else fails, call Vizio and ask for their professional help. If you are not satisfied with their help and assistance, make a complaint by going to BBB.org (Better Business Bureau). Maybe if you tell Vizio that you're going to call the BBB then they might take you a little more seriously.
