My laser jet 1020 would not print the test page at all !

I bought new hp laser jet monochrome printer and after installation of drivers on OS win2000 SP1, it does not print the test page or any doc at all. Shows 'printing' on the status page before an eror message comes. Please advise me.

Your printer is not communicating from the PC. Hit start>printers and faxes>right click on your printer>properties and select ports tab.select the right interface cable.if it is usb tick the box.then okay, check if it will work.

Tried turning it on and off and checking all the connections still getting the same message.

HP colour laser jet CP2025. Prints colour on test sheet but not from pc. It was printing colour until wireless was installed - is there a connection?

Your driver is not sending color data. Either your driver is set to print in geayscale, or you are printing through a monochrome driver to the IP address of the CP 2025
