Re: How do you chnage cartridge
With power ON, open the printer (not just the scanner lid, lift the whole scanner part).
The cartridges will move so you can get to them. Pop open the purple carrier to get to the cartridge.
When you put the new cartridge in, make sure you remove the tape first, and put it with the copper pads facing into the printer. Tip it forward toward the printer and it will go in easier.

The four AAA alkaline batteries are securely held in a battery pack attached to the tailpiece, which incorporates the T7's push button "Quick Cycle" selector switch. Unscrew the tailpiece, remove battery cartridge and refill with 4 "AAA" batteries. Slide the cartridge back in the torch and screw the tailpiece back on.
Are all the inks printing? If not you need to get all colours working before correct align can take place
Have you tried cleaning the gold cartridge contacts? Wth a little distilled water, cotton bud and then let dry before reinstalling
Toner probably isn't empty, but the machine shuts down at a specifc count on the cartridge regardless of actual consumption...don't you love it? Your replacement cartridge was probably a remanufactured one and didn't have the toner reset lever properly set.
