Bad playback This DVD player does some weird crap. It will not load a Memorex cleaning disk, it plays some DVD's fine and others it will not playback properly. Sometimes it will glitch and skip forward for no apparent reason, while with other disks it will play the early tracks and the later tracks fine but the entire middle of the track list is messed up. It will bring up those tracks, but only as bad digital scrambled glitches, and slowly advances (or skips) through the tracks eventually. I have disassembled and cleaned the lens manually, and that helped make some of the disks that didn't load at all load fine, but didn't correct any playback problems, and I also tried unplugging it for more than 24 hours to reset it and also played an audio disk nonstop start to finish without stopping and nothing else has had any effect. Also, all of the disks I have tried in this unit work flawlessly in my JVC HR-XC38, and everything else I have played them with. Obviously this is not the worlds greatest DVD player, but it used to work ok. What can I do to fix this device? Any assistance would be appreciated.
