Hello, First of all, let's start with some simple questions. 1 Was the cartridge ever refilled or is it in the original state? 2 How exactly did this occured? I'm asking this because most printers have a limited space inside them for the cartridge to move around when printing. If they don't fit exactly as they should, they will most likely hit something in their movement when printing. If your cartridge was refilled maybe the person who did that didn't attached the cartridge top part properly and now it moved out of position and hits the inner top of the cartridge housing. Please provide me first with these informations so I can better assist you.

    3. Press "Check".
    4. Press "down" until the "check" appears next to Menu Settings Page.
    5. Press "check".
The message Printing Menus Settings appears on the display.
The printer returns to the Ready state after the menu settings page prints.

Hello.Suddenly my printer got out of service due to a problem titled "5200".What is the source of the problem ? thanks [email protected]

Error 5200 - Print head temperature rise error.

Try this two troubleshooting procedures. If procedure A does not work, go ahead to procedure B. You have to do A first before going to B.

    Procedure A (Power Cycle)

    1. Unplug the printer from the computer and the wall outlet.
    2. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to completely drain the power from it.
    3. Plug it back in to the computer and the power outlet.
    4. Turn on the printer and try printing. If no go, proceed to procedure B.

    Procedure B

    1. Switch on the printer, while its moving the cartridge carriage unit, plug out the power cable. Open the printer's cover.

    2. So, now the printer is off, and the cartridge carriage unit is located somewhere in the middle or any side. Pull it to the middle of the printer.

    3. Take out both cartridge from the carriage unit, and leave the "Lid" open wide.

    4. Now turn on the printer with the Lid still open. The carriage unit will now move to the left and to the right, and then stop again at the middle.

    5. Now, you can put back the cartridges according to the color code: C for Color, B for Black.

    6. Close the cover, and try to print a page.

Please let me know if it works or not so that I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Just post in this thread so that I can reply to you right away.

Canon IP3300 sunddenly lost POWER in the middle of printing

the piece of metal that connects to the power cable might have dirt on it, or it might have come loose from the printer's internal wiring, or a soldering joint in one of the chips might have come loose, and in that case you need to go to a specialist because there is no way that anyone but a specialist would be able to find a boken joint in the printer's myrad of circuts
