Hey!,
I'm writing because my MP3 Sansa won't turn on. See last night I charged it and as I was taking it out of the charger, it fell and hit the ground. Then I picked it up and tried to turn it on. It won't turn on. Is it really broken or is there something i can do to make it work again. Because it's not really mines, it's my cousins and i need it to work before i return it to her.
Thanks

Re: MP3 wont turn on
Its not broken.
When you dropped it, the battery became loose from the contacts inside, therefore it doesnt charge, but lights up when you connect it to the computer.
Remove the 4 screws on the back, then take out the battery and then press it in firmly. Charge the device for about 2 hours.

hey : sir you damaged your battery by charging it with the razor charger. the razor charger have more volts than your device sw the only solution you got is replacing your devise's battery .
my sansa e250 wont turn on only when i plug it into the charger...and when i try to turn it on without plugging it into the charger it says battery is low and turns off..when actually the battery is full...?
I had the same problem. Place the device into hold and press the menu and mic buttons at the same time. The first time I tried it, I had no response and then I pressed the same buttons again and my e260 came back to life.
After getting my e260 to come on, I updated the firmware and everything has been working.
Try to reset it with a needle at the a hole on the side where it says reset button (it says in the back next to the hole). I hope that can take of the problem.
