BOSE PS28 I. There is a RJ45 media import on that, is this possible to make a RCA connection for it? If anyone have any idea about pin out of that, it will be great for me. Thanks

Question edited for clarity.

Facing the 8 pin male plug with two pins on the bottom and three on the top, count pins 1-8 left to right and bottom to top (pin 1 in the lower left and pin 8 in the top right). This is the inverted view from the female layout.

On the RJ45 is, of course, 1-8 left to right with tab down and end facing away from you.

RJ45 pin1 = male 8 pin7 = data (left pair white conductor)
RJ45 pin2 = male 8 pin5&8 = ground (left pair drain common at male 8 end)
RJ45 pin3 = N/A
RJ45 pin4 = N/A
RJ45 pin5 = male 8 pin5&8 = "audio" reference ground (right pair drain common at male 8 end)
RJ45 pin6 = NA
RJ45 pin7 = male 8 pin1 (right pair white conductor) = SPDIF 0
RJ45 pin8 = male 8 pin2 (right pair red conductor) = SPDIF 1

I am not sure of the polarity for the SPDIF because Bose only documents 0 and 1.

Connect pc to tv.

Your TV will need an HDMI or VGA (15 pin) connector on the back, plus you'll need a matching connector on your PC. Get the right cable (eg VGA Male:Male) and connect them up. Then just set you TV input to PC.

Phoneline has 4 pin male connector, printer has 6 pin female slot . . . .What do I do now?

If the 4 pin male connector is the same shape as the 6 pin female slot (but just a bit shorter) then it should fit centrally in the slot and work just fine
If on the other hand the phoneline 4 pin male connector is a BT connector (completely different shape) then you will need to but an adapter.

I think I have connected the wrong plugs into my monitor, cpu and printer. What power cord does the monitor use ?

most monitors use the standard 3 pin connector just like desktop computers.

If it uses something different it will most likely be a 2 pin figure 8 shaped style or a single male connector that comes from a brick.

Rj45 male to db9 male cable for ups

If you have a BackUPS CS, you are probably either using it with the USB cable that is supplied or with the 940-0128A supplied by APC, which permits running the UPS in dumb mode. By building your own cable, you can now run the BackUPS CS models (and perhaps also the ES models) using smart signalling and have all the same information that is available as running it in USB mode.
The jack in the UPS may be easily use a 8 pin RJ45 connector. It is easy to construct the cable by cutting off one end of a standard RJ45-8 ethernet cable and wiring the other end (three wires) into a standard DB9F female serial port connector.
PC Signal PC pin UPS Pin UPS signal RxD 2 2 TxD TxD 3 8 RxD GND 5 7 Ground FG Shield 4 Frame Ground Though these UPSes are USB UPSes, APC supplies a serial cable (typically with a green DB9 F connector) that has 940-0128A stamped into one side of the plastic serial port connector.
Here is suggested scheme of original 940-0128A cable
APC Part# - 940-0128A computer --------- Inside the Connector--------- UPS DB9-F | | RJ45 pin - signal | | Pin - Color | | 4 DSR ->|---+ | | | diode resistor | 6 DTR ->|---+---->|----///---o kill power | 8 Orange | | 1 DCD <-|----+ | | | | 2 RxD <-|----+----------------+--o low battery| 3 Brown | | | 7 RTS ->|----------+--///--+ | | | | | +--///--+ | | | | 8 RI <-|----+----------------+--o on battery | 2 Black | | | 9 CTS <-|----+ | | signal | 5 GND --|-----------------------o ground | 7 Red | | 3 TxD | | | chassis | Chassis/GND |-----------------------o ground | 4 Black | | | Not connected | 1, 5, 6, 9, 10 --------------------------------------

Need video jack

I interfaced the SAVV LM-S6001 today. Here's what I found;

Looking straight on at the male 8 pin DIN connector here's how I'll describe it. There are 3 pins across the top row. From left to right I'll call them 8, 7, 6. There are 2 pins on the left side of the middle row, 5 leftmost and 4 adjacent to the center. Moving right, there is a gap and then pin 3 on the rightmost side of the middle row. There are two pins on the bottom row, pin 2 on left and pin 1 on right. Draw that on some paper.

8 7 6
o o o
5 o o o 3
o o
2 1

Pin 1 is +12VDC
Pin 2 is center contact of both audio and video RCA jacks
Pin 3 is -12VDC
Pin 4 is outer RCA contact for Video
Pin 5 -n/c
Pin 6 -n/c
Pin 7 -n/c
Pin 8 is outer RCA contact for Audio

Now, I don't know what pin 7 does, but it is wired next to pin 4 suggesting a video application, Svideo is my best guess. I can only test for a composite video connection that I am using.

It's alive!
