I am not laughing but I would suggest if possible from the rear with a light first to see if any of the bugs are on the mirror at the rear of the set inside or the lens This set should have inside---look for that first---anything on the mirror or between it and the screen will be magnified and projected into the picture----it is possible to take a good photo and post it here as well.
I have seen this once before---had lots of little moving specs on screen of a Sony---they had several hundred knats inside flying around that were attracted to the light and warmth there.
Solution in that case actually involved use of Moth balls for a while in the area.
bad light engine. light engine replacement is very expensive. I suggest to look for an expert Electronic Technician who can repair light engine. LCD replacement is quiet cheaper...
Yes, I do. It needs a new light engine. Very costly repair. However, Sony has extended the warranty on many of these LED projector sets. You need to call a local Sony authorized service center and see if your model is covered. Otherwise this repair could run over a thousand bucks.
most likely the yellow dot is due to a burn in the picture on the "green" lens. It's not removable because it's burned it, but you can try cleaning it because sometimes, dots are caused by dirt. The worst that can occur is that if the dot is permanant.
