Power light is on T.V. is not responding

Samsung projection television modle# hcl4715w. serial# 31et503190h, type# psa47w1 when I plug the T.V. in YOU can hear the T.V. click on but no picture or sound. replaced picture board a few months ago.

At five years old, I doubt it will be worth replacing the power supply , a picture tube or two and possible the signal board. Cut your loses and get a new set.

Disconnect the convergence board and see if the set comes on. If it does, and it probably will, replace the convergence board or the convergence amp IC's. Good Luck
