Question about Whirlpool LXR5432KQ Top Load Washer

1 Answer

Will Wash, but not discharge water nor spin.

This started all of a sudden -- did the wash process and when it comes to emptying the water the timing knob would not empty the water in neither of the three (3) cycles. Nor will it go into the spin cycle (manually turning the knob to that cycle-- neither of the three cycles). It is not over loaded, in the past had higher load. Do you have any recommandations?

Washing machines problems

please check if the water outlet pipe is clear by blowing down it to see weather the pipe is clear as the machine wont move on until the water is emptied from the last cycle it needs to empty the wash water first before spin cycle can start, its worth a try eric

I have a Bosch Nexxt 700 Series Washing Machine. We have been emptying our washer by shop vac for a couple months now. Nothing in the pump. Once through the wash cycle it will try to drain and then flash...

Is the pump pumping? Have you cleaned all the drain lines including the discharge hose? You may have nothing in the pump but it could be blocked somewhere else.

The washer will not drain or spin

more than likely the pump needs replacing, first of all remove the outlet drain hose from the the place it discharges and lower it into a bucket, this should allow it to syphon away, you may need to empyt the bucket a few times once the machine is empty you should be able to put it on its spin cycle once it has spun locate and remove the filter to remove any objects or lint, fill machine with warm water and try to drain and spin via the programme,if this do not work fit a new pump
