the inside coil and outside unit should be matching in tonages another word if you have 2.5 ton outside the inside sould be the same. it don't matter what brand name or who made it.

Goodman ac compressor freezes up 2 times past month. Ran water over it and it started again. Filters are clean and changed. This time called ac contractor and he gave it a "quick start?". Lasted...

Wash outside unit coil and make sure they are clean .also make sure the fan is running on the outside and inside unit.
If everything is working and clean then you might have a leak and low on refrigerant

I have a goodman ac/heat pump....worked fine last season...now only blows cold air, even in heat setting....help! thanx

Heat Pumps are not famous for being fast heaters. Give it some time to act. Is yours extracting heat from the air or from a water source. If from the outside air, consideration must be given to the temp of the outside air. It takes longer to warm as the temp outside drops.

Yours could be a different problem of course, but let it have a chance to work before you call the repairman.

Goodman CK60-1C model central AC unit blwing hot air

Clicking sound is the contactor engaging to start the outside unit. Check for a burnt off wire at the contactor. For some reason you are not getting power to the outside unit. If you find a burnt off wire shut off all power to it then remake the connection at the point of the circuit break.
