I need some help, I followed the install guide for the quickcam fusion to the letter, installed the driver first, plugged in cam, you know the drill, and for some crazy reason it REFUSES to work correctly on my computer, everytime I open the included software I can take photo's and START to record video (until the program crashes and/or my computer locks up)...so I thought I'd be clever and make movies using moviemaker instead, no no, I didn't even get to start recording ANYTHING before my computer crashed, I have a dozen or more USB devices (including my old Logitech camera) and they all work perfectly on my computer except this one, if I even have this device plugged in to my computer it's just about impossible to boot up, I'm a computer technician and have tried just about everything I can think of, I've read guides on the logitech website about altering BIOS options to try and fix some problems with VIA chipsets and all other kinds of crap, what else can I do apart from doing a fresh install of my OS? I can't think of much else.

Re: Can't use it at all really.
Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall
the software program. When the program asks you to connect the
camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud

Logitec cams have some issues with some Windows operating systems particularly Vista, However if you have Vista you will have to download Vistas driver for that exact cam model. If your operating system isnt Vista then setup the cam in "control panel, printers and other hardware, scanners and cameras". Also I trust when you installed the driver you did NOT plug camera in till it told you to do so.!! ALL USB powered devices must NOT be plugged in while loading drivers.
