We have 5 RCA 7" tablets and only one won't connect. This is crazy! I feel bad because my grandson wanted one so bad and now it's worthless for him

SOURCE: rca tablet wifi connection

Your tablet should auto detect any available wi fi networks in the vicinity, what you would need is the access code to allow use of that connection.

Testimonial: "It's an open network (shame on us) shows a weak not readable signal."

How do I connect my RCA tablet to the wireless internet?

To connect your RCA tablet to Wifi, drag down the right side of your screen to quickly access settings icon. Click the icon so the settings page will open. Slide the Wifi button to the right to switch it on. Scan the wifi network that you wish to connect to and you will be asked for the password or key. Once you are connected you will see the wifi logo will turn to the color blue.

I have a 7 inch RCA tablet that will not connect to my WiFi the internet connect says it is connected but I don't have any bars so it will not allow me to go anywhere.

I've known some tablets not connect to the standard 2.4G wifi but are quite happy on the newer 5G wifi. don't know why.
I've also known some tablets only connect to WEP security or none.
see if you can change the security settings in your router.

Wifi issue

When you reset the tablet your tablet wifi settings, wifi name and password will be erased. You have to detect your wifi on the tablet, connect to it and enter password right?
