Use Washburn BD30 with mike?

I have a Washburn Bad Dog BD30 speaker that I plug my acoustic guitar into. Can I also plug a microphone into it for use as a public address system? If so, is a particular kind of microphone required?

If you use a cheap mic with a 1/4" plug on it you could use the amp, although it won't get real loud. It will also sound pretty bad.

SOURCE: string peg required for washburn d10b

http://www.stevesmusiccenter.com/EZPeg.html

A new type of peg that makes it easier to change strings!

Either that or most guitar shops stock string pegs, Just ask at the counter .. .If they don't have them and can't get any in then they are not a real guitar shop in my opinion

SOURCE: Both the E and A strings

The neck may require adjustment, but would recommend taking it to a luthier or using a guide like raeguitars to talk you through it. Depending where it is on the fretboard that buzzes, the nut may require replacement/adjustment. I've had all these problems in the past and the above tutorial helped me fix all of them.

I have a George Washburn J4/HB, can it be played as an acoustic without plugging it in?

Sure, if you want! It may sound a little "tinny' i.e. lots of treble, but a have two different hollow body guitars that I'll strum, or whatever.
Having said that, the guitar was designed with the idea of plugging it in. But it's your guitar, so rock out!

Replacing the battery

It is easy to replace the battery in your Washburn guitar.

The battery compartment is located where you plug in an instrument cable to your guitar. Simply open it and take out the old battery and put in a new 9V. battery.

We need to replace a broken tuning peg for a Washburn D10SB series acoustic guitar . Where can we get them from?

Almost any guitar store would have this and any Luthier would likely have a replacement.

Washburn is a name brand so it should be easy to find the replacement.
