Just about any hardware store. take the staple gun with you and ask a clerk or floor person.

Most of the staple gun models lack an "anvil" — the metal plate with curved slots that office staplers use to bend the legs of the staple inwards and flattens them against the paper. Staples set with a staple gun retain their straight legs, and are held in place only by static friction of the legs against the compressed surrounding material, much like common nails. Indeed, some staple gun models can handle brads and nails as well as staples. Some staple guns also use divergent point staples where the legs twist as the staple drives into the surface providing superior holding power.

Open the chamber and drop the staples upright in to the chamber do not try to load the staples by placing them on the strip that pulls out as you do with most staple guns.

Hello there:
when you purchase staples for this particular gun even though you might get a staple that is says it fits this gun you need to look at the type of staple if you get the one that says heavy duty it will not work it took me 2 times to find out the right ones for this gun it comes in a green box and says standard duty on it not heavy duty this is where most people make their mistake. ok?

SOURCE: I have a very old Bostitch staple gun Model T5.

You should not need any tools to lift the guard/nose piece. The T5 nose piece cleary has engraved on it "Pull Up To Insert Staples". To remove old staples, use a pencil or similar rod to depress the hammer/striker above the staples while the nose is open.

Stanley TR 150 staples only going in half way. Why?

Hi Rene:
Don't know what materials you're working on, but you need to match the staple length with the thickness of the product being attached and the hardness of the material you're stapling into.
The intent is to attach one product to another. I'd go to a 1/4 inch staple for your application.

According to Stanley's own website, the TRE500 will only use either 1/2" or 5/8" brads.

How do i load the staple gun?

1 Hold stapler upside down.
2. Release black plastic catch at rear and pull out.
3. Drop staples into bottom of gun, with open side up.
4. Push black plastic catch closed and latched.

Bostitch nail gun number SB-21n1 is jammed and need manual to know how to unjam it or a solution online. Was using it in the staple mode and it jammed after about 5 staples. Was using bostitch staples.

Hello. Begin by disconnecting the air hose. That way you can not get hurt while removing the jam. Get a pair of needle nosed pliers and remove each of the jammed staples. They will pull out I assure you. Then Use a little WD-40 or compressor oil to lubricate the working mechanism at the firing head. IF you must loosen up the mechanism to remove all of the staple parts be sure to use the correct size allen wrench.
