In North America, paging plan can run from $6.95-20/month depending upon coverage area, volume of pages, and other add-ons. Many companies still use them as they are amongst the cheapest and most reliable method to get a hold of people. Pager signals can reach areas cell phones cannot, can be safely operated in sensitive areas like hospitals, and are made to withstand abuse cell phones cannot. Some pager services offer voicemail pickup, some offer numerical paging, some offer alphanumeric paging, some offer customer internet gateways to reach you. They can provide regional, country or continent wide coverage, and many still use them for PBS or Emergency broadcasting. Good luck.

Paging plans are pretty expensive at around $40 a month and have a limit on how many pages you can send.

The printers ink pads are at the end of their service life pleace contact epson supprot

Epson don't want you to replace the ink pads, and prefer you to buy a new printer. Therefore they make the pads inaccessible and expensive to service.

The popular approach is to hack the printer and reset the counter which causes the printer to send this message.

When eventually the printer starts to spill ink and smear the pages, just replace it.

I have this compressor and when I pull the switch to turn it on nothing happens. It is only about 5 months old. Is there a reset switch or somthing?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly

The parts schematic can be found on this page:
http://www.bostitch.com/default.asp?TYPE=STATICLEFT&PAGE=tooldoc_results.htm&Left=left_tooldoc_results.htm&partNum=CAP2000P-OF&serialNum=

Pop-ups have to be enabled to see the pdf file schematic that will come up with this address:
http://www.bostitch.com/catalog_images/web_pdf/IP1275-1REVA.pdf

I tink your pressure switch has failed that is item 21 of the above link. The SHOULD be a warranty repair. Item 21 : AB-9415626 0021 PRESSURE SWITCH $21.60

It is possible that the motor itself has failed but on a unit 5 months old the pressure switch is the most likely suspect.

The warrnaty Service has an "At your expense shipping" statement.

To obtain warranty service, return the product at your expense together with proof of purchase to a

Bostitch Regional or authorized warranty repair center. You may call us at 1-800-556-6696 for the
location of authorized warranty service centers in your area.

Bostitch, Inc., warrants to the original retail purchaser that this product is free from defects in

material and workmanship, and agrees to repair or replace, at Bostitch's option, any defective
product within 1 year from the date of purchase.

Maybe you live in area where you could do a carry in service.

For sure I would call them.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

My printer is coming up with a message saying , Service Needed Parts in your printer are near the end of there service life. See your printer documentation. Can you explain what this could mean and what...

There is a page counter in your (and most all other) printer. At a predetermined point this message will appear and, in essence, instruct you that your printer is worn out and it should be replaced.

The reasoning behind this is not just to sell more printers. Printers can start "eating" expensive media, wasting expensive ink, etc., when in the end it would have been cheaper (in the long run) to have just replaced the printer as they are so cheap these days.

On some printers the counter can be reset, however I don't know about your specific model. If the printer still works fine, I would just ignore it and when the printer starts misbehaving (and it will,) replace it. They are not worth servicing.
