yes, the computer router is compartible with ipod touch. Once each devices are powered on, use the system settings functionalities to turn on bluetooth modes. The ipod touch should recognise a foreign signal requiring password settings. using the ipod, create a suitable pass for the network establishment. When the Apple Logo is stuck
If this happens, put the iPod into Disk Mode through the diagnostic menue. Then connedct the iPod to your computer and update or restore the iPod.
Sometimes you can get away with just updating the iPod, so try that first, but usually you have to restore the iPod .
As always make backups of your music files, because the restore procedure will eliminate them.

I tried different computers and cords... I ended up opening iTunes without the iPod and going under Help/Run Diagnostics. I selected to run diagnostics on just the iPod, an error message came up and then it worked. I'm not sure HOW it worked, but it did.

im not sure about it but I suggest that you should refer that to the nearest ipod dealer immediately because I do believe that the chipsets including the motherboard of it are very sensitive.
