My remote has stopped working. This problem has occurred before and unfortunately I can't remember how I fixed it. The batteries are fine, there is some sequence of buttons that I need to push on the remote to get it to change back to the tv. Something like [set] - [TV] - and then a number sequence. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

For my universal remote control's manual, all of the Samsung codes are:
Also, remember that you can have the remote scan for codes on its own. On the remote just hold the "TV" control button (should be at the top near the power button) and the power button turns on. Then hold the power button too, and it shuts back off; keep holding until it turns back on and then it will stay on. Then, point the remote at the TV (it should be on) and press the power button every three seconds. It will test a code every two or three seconds. When your TV finally shuts itself off in response, you've got the right code and the remote should work.
I need the code for the Sumsung Universal Remocon for my Samsung TV model TXN2726. It is an older TV 2003 model. It was given to us recently but the remote needs to be programmed and we weren't given the programming code.
This denotes a power supply problem. The trouble could be in the low voltage or the high voltage supply. You will need a schematic and at least a multimeter to even beging to troubleshoot this problem. If you do not have a background in electronics. I would suggest taking the set to a TV repair shop.
