Question about Maytag MSD2736GR Side by Side Refrigerator

I have a maytag side by side frig. Today I walked

I have a maytag side by side frig. Today I walked by and water was pouring out of the ice/water dispenser. I quickly turned off the water to the frig. I also turned off the ice maker.
It is making a buzzing noise like it's trying to pump water. It is the same sound as if you were trying to use the water dispenser. I'm trying to figure out how to stop it.

The ice maker has been giving us some problems for some time. It only makes Ice once in awhile. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.The drain line is frozen.Remove the back wall in the freezer and remove the ice.You can either use boiling water or a hair dryer.The drain hole is in the center bottom.Be careful not to touch or poke the evaparator(big aluminum thing) You have to remove all the ice until you see the hole keep pouring boiling water until the water runs down the drain.It is a easy job just takes some time.

Frig 2 weeks old and today when the frig starts to run it clicks every 20 seconds until the compressor stops.Should I have someone look at it?
Since it's still under warranty you should. It sounds like either the starter/relay is going bad or more serious the compressor may have a problem.

Can't unlock ice water depenser on maytag side by side
On most brands all you have to do is hold the lock button until it unlocks.

Ice melted
Very possible your compressor is bad or the start capacitor is defective. Need someone to do an electrical test on compressor to eliminate the compressor.

Ice maker over flow now water wont fill back up
no its not blown up low water pressure will cause also sticking water valves if it has worked properly for a while then change the water valves

if you have a thin sheet of ice in the bootom of the freezer your drain is clogged,use a hair dryer to lossen the ice sheet and get it out of the way,heat up the drain hole and pull the frig. out from the wall,use a hanger or something you can usr to clear the drain tube,last get a hot half cup water with alittle beach and pour it down the drain,your done,let me know how you do-ike

I HAVE A MSD2454GRW, 23.5 CU, MAYTAG AND ICE BUILDS UP ON THE FLOOR OF THE FREEZER TO A POINT WHERE IT RUNS ON THE FLOOR. CAN CLEAN IT OUT AND 12-15 HOURS LATER, ITS BACK.

well sometimes it clogs up , when i open the frig door sometimes the ice falls out since the actual cup in inside of frig is full of the crushed ice.
