Hi. you can try to reset the electronic oven control by unplugging the unit for 3 mins. if the problem still exist, you will have to replace the clock/control(electronic range control).

Jenn-Air Range displaying Error F1-8

Did not find an error code "F1-8"
I did find these. Seems that about everything that can go wrong with a Jenn Air is related to the clock.

Oven doesn't work, stove does

If it's a Whirlpool or Kenmore oven (or one of several other brands that are made by Whirlpool) then this error code means:

F1 - E1 Safety flip flop Replace Electronic Range Control/Clock (ERC)

The system believes that the control board has failed and needs to be replaced.

This page has a list of diagnostic codes by brand and model number. You should check there to look up your particular brand to confirm what I just said.

After a power outage oven will no longer work

F1-E1 - EEPROM Checksum Error - Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect.
Allow at least a minute after power has been restored and if error code reappears, replace control board (clock).

IBM thinkpad T30 wont load up

Pressing F1 is usually so accept the bios settings. This will happen if it loses all power and the BIOS internal Clock gets reset.

If you hit F1 it should get past that and let you set the clock in windows or you can hit DELETE key right as you tune it on and try and get into the bios. Some systems its F10, which ever gets you in the bios.

Then reset the bios to defaults, set the clock and reboot and see what happens.

Let me know whatever you can as far as details so i can try and help you the best i can.

good luck

Both ovens and clock are not working

F1 error usually signifies a broken touchpad or clock assembly or both. I would start with replacing the clock assembly as this is the most common cause of the F1 series error. If it does not resolve the issue you may have to replace the touch pad as well.

Good Luck,
Sai.
