Hi Andy.
The yellow oil plugs are for the motor. At the bottom of the crankcase you should also see a screwed drain plug. Remove this, allow the oil to run out, replace and refill with a good quality multigrade engine oil.
The water pump oil may or may not be accessible, depends on the pump manufacturer. If you have a sight glass, you will be able to drain and change the oil. You will also have a filler cap with a breather.
Use a good quality tractor transmission oil or oil supplied by the manufacturer. DO NOT USE ENGINE OIL IN THE PUMP TRANSMISSION. It may aerate and overflow.
In normal use a pressure washer should not use either engine oil or pump oil between servicing. Excessive engine oil consumption indicates a tired motor. Oil consumption by the water pump is a big indicator of overuse.

Why won't the cleaning solution come out of the hose for Husqvarna 3100 PSI 2.8 GPM Gas Pressure Washer 020490?

Most people I run into with this problem are trying to get the cleaning solution to work with one of the high pressure tips, usually red, green, white or yellow. The only way to make the machine use the cleaning solution is with the low pressure, soap tip, usually black. With the high pressure tips there is too much back pressure for the solution to be picked up and mixed into the water stream.

Cannot remove hose from water pump-Husqvarna model 020490 power washer

Use pliers an next time don't gorilla it on there. The rubber gasket doesn't need super strength to tighten it enough to do its job

Where do you add the oil on a DeWalt 3100psi pressure washer?

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly

From reading everything I can find, i.e User's manual & parts manual the only thing you add oil too is the engine. The pressure pump does not have a liquid sump.

You can look at parts here detail D:
http://www.ereplacementparts.com/dewalt-dpd3100-pressure-washer-parts-c-1009_7440_7445.html

So too add oil to the engine you would remove the dip stick from the crank case located on the opposite of the side of the engine as the oil sensor.

I recommend you use 30 WT SAE oil for 3 oil changes then on the 4th oil change use an HD 30 WT oil. The oil drain plug is located in the center of the side of the engine crank case base. On the 5th Oil change switch back to SAE 30 WT oil. Oil brands are not really important. They all have to meet SAE the same standards to carry the label of SAE. (Yes you can use a generic 30 WT SAE oil )
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

How to change oil in a pressure washer

From the manual CleanShot 2050 Briggs and Stratton

Change Pump Oil
1. Drain engine oil and fuel from pressure washer
2. Use an 8 mm allen wrench to remove black pump oil cap between high pressure outlet and garden hose inlet.
3. Tiltl pressure washer to drain oil into an approved container until it drips slowly from pump.
4.Tilt pressure washer in opposite direction and empty premeasured pump oil bottle into same opening (a small funnel may be helpful) [THIS IS WHAT THE MANUAL SAYS-NOT CLEARLY WRITTEN IN MY OPINION OR WRITTEN BY SOMEONE FOR WHOM ENGLISH IS A SECOND LANGUAGE]
5. Install black pump oil cap and tighten firmly.
6. Set pressure washer in upright position. Add fuel and engine oil.

From the engine manual use synthetic 5w-30, 10w-30 from -20 degrees F to temperature of 100 degrees F.
Change oil after 5 hours of operation initially. Before tipping to drain oil, remove fuel from fuel tank by running until tank is empty. Remove oil cap and dipstick and tip engine. Keep spark plug side up. Or remove drain plug from the bottom of pressure washer with a ratchet and square extension and drain oil from bottom. (fuel does not have to be removed)
