Red "on" light fell inside Thermidor cook top

Red light normally means it on. Usually also means the stove is on and the buzzer is probably to let u know when oven is ready or is part of a timer.

I know what you are talking about. It is the little light on the panel and it comes on to warn you if the element on the top of the cooking stove is hot. There is a little plastic red piece that pushed in the hole. The light you see clamps onto it. You have to pull out the oven and remove the shiny metal back from the oven. Make sure you unplug or turn off your power to the oven. You will need to buy a new red plastic piece. It is called a light lens.

Prepare Patties

1. Put minced scallions and chopped mushrooms in bowl.
2. Add red wine vinegar.
3. Add ground beef to bowl.
4. Mix everything together with your hands.
5. Flatten the beef into four patties that are 1/2-inch thick and 5 inches in diameter.

Cook Patties

1. Set stove-top grill or burner to medium-high.
2. Preheat nonstick frying pan. The pan is the correct temperature when a drop of water dances on its surface rather than sticking to it.
3. Place patties in the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Flip patties and cook for another minute, and then add sliced cheese to the tops of patties if desired.
5. Cover pan and allow burgers to cook for a final 2 minutes. Cook 3 to 4 minutes for well-done burgers.
6. Remove hamburgers from pan and place in hamburger buns.
7. Add condiments and toppings such as ketchup, mustard, sliced tomatoes, lettuce, red onions and pickles.

Remove the offending burner, check it for crimps or debris inside that was dislodged when it fell over. Also check the venturi valve on the open end of the burner for damage or blockage. While the burner is out, look at the burner orifice to make sue it's still in place and not clogged. If all of the aforementioned checks out Ok, the burner manifold valve may have gotten damaged beyond repair and will need to be replaced.

the crack may get bigger with use and any repair would have to be with foor safe materials / you could only use it with a coking bag ( makes cleaning easy . but its probably time to replace it , mm

the red light is the cook light.

Don't really need a wiring diagram, although there may be one inside switch area. (make sure to put it back again if it is there) Will need the full model number to get you the part number you need. (model number usually on a sticker near where the electrical wire enters the cook top)
Turn off power to cook top. Open cover to switches. Pull two "pilot" (usually smaller spade terminals) off the switch for the right front burner, and insulate each with a bit of electrical tape. Turn power back on to see if light now off. If yes, replace that switch. If no, replace those wires and repeat procedure with the next switch until you find the bad switch. those wires dont go to the down draft. those colors are to hook up the stove. do you have the instalation instructions?
