Re:
What is the model # of your machine????
The loud banging noise sounds like the loads were getting unbalanced. This is the most likely since i have no problems with the suspension all of a sudden not stabilizing tub properly. If the washer was moved or transported than that would make more sense to me. please provide as much info as you can. Try doing a load of 10 towels. Let me know how that does and with the model # i can help with pulling some diagnostic codes
ok got the model # sorry bout that didnt see it try the towels test and let me know if it finishes it. Does it do the banging noise every time or not just now it wont finish cycles??ok got the model # sorry bout that didnt see it

You gonna have to pull it out and open it up and take a look see and a hear see inside the motor area. There is something hollering for help. Look fer it!
Hello, If the noise is a squealing or grinding sound, you are likely looking at a bad seal and bearing.
If the noise is a knocking sound, it's more likely a suspension or out of balance condition. Thanks
There is 2 possible problems. 1. Pump will make noise as soon as the drain and spin starts. 2. Rear bearing this noise usually starts later in cycle as the drum gets up to final speed. The rear bearing of coarse is the most expensive of the two as it is part of the outer tub.
YOU MEAN LOUD DURING SPIN CYCLE? IF THAT SO, WHAT KIND OF NOISE? BANGING NOISE MEANS YOU HAVE UNBALANCED LOAD OR ONE OF THE SUSPENSION IS BAD OR FELL OFF. GRINDING NOISE MEANS YOU HAVE A BAD TUB BEARING, TO REPLACE THAT, YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE REAR TUB ASSEMBLY, VERY COSTLY. MEANS YOU PROBABLY BE BUYING A NEW WASHER.
Most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary
