Re: using self timer on my digital camera
1 In any Still mode, tap Settings to open the Settings panel. 2 Tap Self-Timer/Burst repeatedly, until the desired Self-timer icon appears at the bottom of the LCD: 10 seconds—A picture is taken after a 10-second delay (so you have time to get into the scene). 2 seconds—A picture is taken after a 2-second delay (for a steady, auto-shutter release on a tripod). 2 shot—The first picture is taken after a 10-second delay. A second picture is taken 8 seconds later. 3 Compose the scene. Press the Shutter button halfway, then completely down. The camera takes the picture/pictures after the delay.

Turn on the camera, click menu button. The first option is a little clock picture on the left, and on the right top corner of the screen it should say "self timer". Click the little button on the dial with your thumb and a menu comes up "self timer ON, OFF". Move up, click "ON" and it is set for your next photo to self shoot. You have to do this for each photo.
In any Still mode, press down-arrow repeatedly until the self-timer icon appears for the desired setting. Your choices are 10-second delay, 2-second-delay, and 2-shot, where one picture is taken after ten seconds and a second picture eight seconds later.
