I have a Daewoo tv model dlp-37c3. The lcd light blinks red/green, no matter what I do. When I unplug it and plug it back in, it automatically blinks. When I press buttons on the remote, you can tell it is trying to get the signal (by the red blink) but nothing changes. I have tested all my connections. The manual indicates this is "standby mode", but I cannot clear it. Also, this happened all the sudden, while I was watching tv.

when you turn it off your light blinks because your internal fans are still spinning allowing the inside of the chassis to cool off, hence the reason you dont watch a DLP TV and then unplug it. DLP's are JUNK

If TV goes off and the led stays blinking, that is because the TV is going on protection. Protection is a special diagnostic mode that starts when an internal fault has been detected. If this happens erratically while you are watching TV, then parts that can commonly cause the problem are PSU board, main board or digital board, ballast board and converge board on DLP, inverter on LCD, low buffer and sustain boards on plasma.
Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.
