Lid Hi, The lid to this broke. Where can I purchase a replacement at a good price? Thanks

If its the lid or removable pot by a very cheap 6 Quart or 6 to litre Slow cooker / Crock pot of the same shape and the removable pot and lid should fit. That's what I did when I broke the lid off my Tricity TSC09 6 litre Slow Cooker I bought a cookworks signature 24 euro 605 litre oval dog standard slow cooker and the lid fit, now I also have a removable pot replacement too in case a smash that too at a low price.

When our lid broke (the plastic knob part broke from the rest of the plastic lid when my wife dropped it), I was able to glue it back on using Devcon "Weld it" adhesive. (Available at any hardware). So far it's held for over six years of regular use.

Otherwise you can always find use a glass replacement lid from Rival. I seen them going for $12 on Ebay (which included shipping). Look for 10-3/8" diameter, 5 quart.

What you can do is purchase a new one that has the same exact lid, replace your broken lid in the box and take it back. I am not a proponent of this all the time, but if they cannot make / sell that part we sometimes have to give them that part back in a return.

I called on mine (same purchase place and time but they did not ask). they are sending me a new lid for free. mine broke months ago but i have just used it very carefully prying open the lid.

it does sound like there is a problem but at least they are providing a free replacemnet.

most crock pots are made by the one manufacturer but with different names on them
measure the size of yours and any same shape with those dimensions will fit your unit
e-bay or cruise around the junk shops for lids

easy fix go down to your hardware store and buy a big wooden knob (like you would put on a cabnet to open it) it will even come with its own screw for .99 ! . you will have to snap off with a plyers and a screwdriver whats left of the old knob from the lid . but this fix works great and looks good too !

For what it's worth, when the handle on my mother-in-law's crockpot broke, I went to Home Depot and bought a cheap wooden drawer knob (about $1 as I recall). I put a plastic washer between the knob and the glass and another under the screw head from the bottom (to prevent cracking the lid), tightened the screw and good as new.

Where can I get a new black handle for the lid that broke at the screw.

I am Jo Anne Gomez who posted original problem and thought the problem was resolved with husband putting on a knob he found at the hardware store. Just wanted to let you all know that the handle we thought would solve the problem DID NOT....after he replaced the knob and we did another roast in it the lid totally shattered after we'd cooked another roast (luckily the glass did not get into the food), however, this is just a BAD PROBLEM and these lids should ALL be recalled. I have seen, just recently, the exact same crock pot and lid being sold for much less. I think that these crock pots should not even be sold but taken off the market to prevent lawsuits or horrible problems. Just wanted to let you know our solution did not work and Rival was not helpful at all.
