Try disconnecting the mains power for an hour. If it has a back up battery remove that too. Reconnect and try again.

The first press of the button to the right of the On/Off button on the Utilitech TM-029 will display the current Sunrise time. You can then adjust this time with the +/- buttons. A second press will display the Sunset time and allow you to adjust that.

This is useful if you want a light to come on at sunset (or a time near sunset) and go off at sunrise every day.

The battery is a capacitor built into circuit board.
When timer is connected to power, it charges the battery... and during power outage, the capacitor discharges power to hold memories until power resumes.
There is no replacement battery.

Do not run any timer warm... replace with switch, and/or buy another timer.

Safe maximum is always 80% rating plate: is 12 amp and 1440 watts.
Add up total watts on circuit.

The only TM 020 timer I show is 230Volt 50 hz Chinese analog-type timer. This timer is not digital.

Over past 2 years, I have requested several times that person asking question about TM 020 please include full description of timer buttons and relevant features, and/or post photo of timer on flickr and add link to that photo, so the timer can be clearly identified and possible manual found using timer with same-similar features.
