SOURCE: I have a Westinghouse washer

First you should remove the hoses and clean the screens in the ends of the hose, some hoses have screens in both ends. While the hoses are removed look inside the water inlet valve there should be a screen in there also remove and clean the screen out. Some screens will not be removable so you will need to clean in place or remove the water inlet valve. If all is clear you will need to check the solenoids on the water inlet valve for power. If the solenoid has power when put in a fill cycle and no water eneters your washer you will need to replace the water inlet valve. Most water inlet valves must be replaced as a unit, so if one solenoid fails you replace the hole valve assembly. These are inexpensive and easy to replace. Here is a video at that will walk you thru the testing a water inlet valve. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. If you need help disassembling there are also videos of disassembling most styles. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. Not all models will be available. All parts come with installation instructions.

I'm having trouble removing the water pump off of my white westinghouse washer(older model)

You have the invisible screw or clamp problem. Hidden or in plain sight sometimes. If you can't figure it out try contacting the factory and there's always you-tube.
Can't be to much help without seeing it but it's something you are overlooking. Hang with it and don't let it win!

Me and my partner just bought a new house and yesterday we tried the dishwasher for the first time. I'm not sure which model we have, but it is a white Westinghouse Dishwasher with 5 wash options. The...

If the dishwasher has been setting for a long time the seals in the pump could of dryed out. Go ahead and run the dishwasher again and it could seal itself back up if not..... you will need to call a repairman to replace the seals. Or buy a new dishwasher if the unit has some age on it. You will get a new warranty..... I would also tell your realitor about it and maybe she could help you. The appliance may have a 30 warranty with the purchase of the house.......Hope this helps...

Toyota Camry 1995 model. Oil leaking, How to fix it? recommend a place where i can fix this problem. how much it will cost?

How to fix it and how much will it costs will depend on where the leak is. Best thing to do is observe on the floor the exact spot of the dripping , and then trace upwards to see where it comes from. Most common oil leakage is from improperly screwed oil filter or gasket seal on said filter. Distributor seal is another source of leakage and also valve cover gaskets. When you say "leaking" i assume it is an external leak. If oil consumption can be visible in the exhaust, such as white smoke, it is a different story altogether.

I have oil leaking from either the timing chain or the front main

if the front seal leak you can just replace the seal, if the timing cover is leaking then you will have to remove the cover. while you are in there, I suggest that you go ahead to replace the timing chain ( timing set ), seal and a new cover. parts cost less than 100 dollars.

Leaking from bottom middle and right side of door

The center spray arm may not be turning straight and level, causing water to spray over the top of the splash shield. The shield needs to be adjusted to block water as it is sprayed from the center arm.

1. Remove the bottom door seal and reinstall, making sure there is not less than 3/8 inch of seal showing below bottom of internal door panel before closing the door.
2. Check tub seal, at the bottom the tub, seal makes a right angle and points to front of tub. In tub bottom there is a block molded in the tub, the tub seal is to fill this block but not extend over.
3. Select the shortest wash cycle or just use a rinse and hold cycle if available. Run the cycle, making sure the water spray changes from bottom to center not less than twice before making any adjustments.
4. If splash over is found, work only one side at a time. Remove black door seal enough to raise the splash shield up off the bottom of the tub not more than 1/8 inch and reinstall door seal properly. Retry and check for leaks.
5. If leak persists, remove door seal again. This time raise shield an additional 1/16 of an inch, then reinstall tub seal. After the first adjustment of 1/8 inch, any other adjustments will be no more than 1/16 inch at a time.
6. After splash over is stopped on one side go to the opposite side if needed.

Honda mechanics state that my 1992 Acura Legend Coupe is leaking oil and coolant from under the front timing cover and I should bring it to an Acura dealer. What is the most likely problem?

your water pump is leaking and most likely you had a small oil leak under there also and now the coolant is washing it out, don't go too long with these leaks because your timing belt is under there and is getting soaked with oil and and coolant this will break or slip off causing major engine damage to result (i.e bent valves) good luck and please rate -jeff
