Question about Brother ML-100 Typewriter

Trouble with the @ symbol

Hi, I saw that this was posted before, but the replies weren't very helpful. I can not get my typewriter to type the @ sign. I've tried all the different language settings (the switch on the right side) and it'll either type " or the spanish n or a v. Can somebody help, please!?

Try a new printwheel, look for debris in the P/W area.

Error Code

Hi James,
I've didn't noticed that you've posted a new question through another thread. Please reply only to your original question so that I can saw right away....
I will not informed once you create a new question.
"34" is an error code for lamp abnormality.
Since you've already replaced the lamp, it is not the suspect now. You must check the condition of the ballast board first. Please let me know if you can troubleshoot the ballast board through series of test using the multimeter.

Instructions for installing BT3000 saw belts

Please see operating manual available for download here. That includes an exploded parts diagram, which may help you get the new belts on. Otherwise, you might try contacting an authorized Ryobi service center and asking for assistance. I'm afraid I've never worked on one of those saws.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Recently was given an old craftsman band saw . cannot find a model or serial number. am trying to determine if it is worth fixing up and where I might get parts, operating instruction ( ie alignment of ...

If you still have it, you might have luck looking through the publication reprints for craftsman saws listed at this site. When you get to the craftsman's mfr's page, click on the Pub type heading and the list will sort according to the type of machine. If you can't find your saw, you may be able to find one of similar vintage whose instructions will be close enough to help you on your way.
Good luck.

This is an IPL for a "2900 Gas Saw Type 4" (May not be your saw)

Item 44 are the bar bolts.

Post 6 in this thread is quite good. I have seen a post that required repair of the casting (with photos) to repair but was not able to find it.

If the IPL I provided is not your saw you can find yours here:
Poulan.com
http://www.ordertree.com/modelinfo/POULAN-WEED-EATER/75.59.html
The dash number of your serial number is the type.
If I can be of further help please reply below. I hope you found this helpful.

Can't type @ sign

In ascii ñ code is 164 while @ code is 064. I'm not familiar with typewriters but if it allows characters to be imputed like on PC than press Alt and while holding it type 064. Perhaps codes are mixed for some reason so you can try same thing with 164.
