Check to see if you have an excessive amount of txt messages stored on your phone. If so, clear/delete messages off the phone. If this doesnt solve the problem, it could be a software problem. If it's under warranty, return the phone for servicing. If it's not under warranty, then reflash the phone with new software.
hi, we have the same problem with the same motorola unit.. i've cause a lot of money looking for the solution on this problem & the best thing was i got a solution on it. 1st suggestion is look for a expert technician that will reformat your v3x then ask the tech to check your camera and the ribbon if there is a defect, 2nd, let the tech diagnos your phone to look for the correct problem of your phone.. This thing happen to me already & thanks for the great technician i got & he make my v3x unit as good as new again.. never stick to one technician, always ask the opinion of the another technician, this is the best thing i did..
