Bunn coffee maker leaking from underneath the bottom

If you will locate the date code on the bottom of the unit and then call Customer Service, the machine will be replaced at no cost or if over 3 years old, at a reduced price.

Please get the model and code date located on the bottom of the brewer. The machine has a 3 year warranty and if it is 3 years old or less, it will be replaced at no cost. there's probably a 'silicon rubber' hose that feeds hot water to the 'grounds basket'- it may be loose, or damaged. is it leaking water, or coffee?? we have a bunn 8-cup, which has a pre-heated water tank that brews a pot in about 3 min. energy waster, but when you need coffee, you need coffee!!! is your filter holder properly centered? is the carafe lid hole clean and un-obstructed?
if it's leaking water, and not too costly to replace- you may consider replacing it with a new one!

I have the same problem and I took the coffee maker apart to find out why. The fitting for the hold in the black pastic that the water flows through to get into the stainless steel tank may not have a tight fitting with the plastic and that's where I had water leakage. I used some silicone sealant to fix the leak and the water stopped leaking!

It sounds like you have a broken seal/gasket. Please get the model and date code located on the bottom of the machine and call customer service. most likely this is leaking out of the plastic tray where you pour the water in. this can be replaced, but you will have to call your local Bunn repair shop to see if they have a used one there, because Bunn will not ship parts for the home brewers. If you are within your warranty period of three years, give Bunn a call at 1-800-263-2256 and ask forwarranty department.

your problem is caused by the pour-in tray leaking where it mounts to the tank. There should be 2 screws under the pour-in lid, and a third toward the rear of the brewer. if you take them out & lift up carefully, you can see the pour-in tray. in the bottom of the tray, there is a bolt that mounts the tray to the tank. If you remove that, you can lift the pour-in tray out. Be careful, as these trays get brittle over time, and are prone to cracking.
