Question about Pioneer SD-P50A5-K 50" Rear Projection Television

I have a Pioneer SD-P50A3T It won't oscillate continuously from standby when you power-up you can hear the relay but in a split second it return to red standby...any suggestion????thanks

ok sir you have defective power supply at hot side section! and the power oscillstion circuit! your unit need to diagnos to know the exact defective parts!

SOURCE: Pioneer SD-P55A5 shut off during use and wont advance past standby mode

This is a problem related to the hue controlls in the TV. It is quite common.

Fix: You can go into the TV settings and try adjusting the hue/tint there.

If adjusting settings does not work, request help from a technician to fix it for you since it will take adjusting the hue internally and if you do not do it correctly it can damage your television.

yeah, I have the same issue... The tv worked fine, and now it will not turn on... the light turns green, then turns off and goes red...

I would suggest replacing the board itself, chances are what caused those fuses to blow is still faulty. did you check those fuses again after you powered it back up?

Monitor standby won't stay on /pioneer 424mv

What is the source of the TV signal? I know many monitors have a "power-saving mode" that returns the unit to standby if there is no signal coming in.

Check that the signal cables are working (try swapping cables). Make sure the source is on before turning on the TV. Press the Input button to select a different source. Make sure that the source signal is not refreshing (or synching) at a rate that is incompatible with the TV. (If your source is a PC that was previously connected to a CRT monitor, the refresh rate should be reset to 60 Hz before connecting the computer the the Pioneer 424MV.)

Pioneer 65" TV Model # SD-643HD5 won't power up.

Sd-p55a3-k/kc this tv does not turn on

Th convergance amps have failed you will half to replace them, or have it done parts are around 70 dollars not and easy fix on a pioneer time consuming

Will not power on

Hi

the clicking sound is the responds of the relay switching and cant continue power up because of you have problem in Regulated power section the (oscillation) and the six blinks is the defective oscillation, this problem need to diagnose to find the bad parts in regulated power section..

I had the same problem with a tube TV. It is the "vertical output transistor" that do this, not a relay.

SD-P50A5 Pioneer TV - No Video and Audio is 'chirpy'

CHECK IT FOR CRACKED SOLDIER CONECTIONS ON IC2603 AND IC2604.
resoldier all heat sink parts , this model came of the manufactior line with manny bad solider conections.
