Not recognizing AC power

My machine will not detect AC power when it is plugged into a good wall outlet. It just keeps running on the batteries until they are dead. I've changed the power supply with a new one and it still occurs intermittently.

Its probably the power connector not connected to the motherboard / circuit or some of the circuitry inside the laptop is damaged / broken so might want to take it to a laptop repair place and get it looked at.

I got a Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro tablet which is stuck on 29% charge.

Go to Battery options on your Device settings.

Check the Battery charging mode. The device can only charge through the power adapter and may have shifted into the USB charging. If it shows USB charging, do the following.

Remove the USB connector from the Tab device and AC adapter from wall power outlet (Must need to remove both the ends).

Reconnect the USB cable and AC adapter to wall unit. Now check the charging mode, it shows charging with AC. Now the device can charge as normal condition.

If however it shows USB charging, do this step again by disconnecting the ports and reconnecting until you see the AC charging mode for Battery.

If the mode was correct, I'd test the charger unit for 5+ volts. It's possible it died.

Won't reload on my ipad

Connect to wall outlet Uses the USB power adapter and USB cable included with the device. If it is a third-party accessory, check to see if it is Apple Certified . Then follow these steps:
  1. Connect the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to the Lightning to USB connector cable or the 30-pin to USB connector cable .
  2. Connect it to one of three power sources:

Wall outlet

Connect the charging cable to a USB AC adapter and connect the USB AC adapter to the wall outlet.

Computer

Connect the charging cable to a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port on a computer that is not in sleep mode. Do not use the USB ports on the keyboard.

Power supply
Connect the cable to a powered USB hub, docking station, or other Apple-certified accessory.

When the device is charging, you will see a lightning bolt next to the battery icon in the status bar or a large battery icon on the lock screen.

After purchasing this product, how long do you have to let it charge before you can turn it on to use it?

First lesson here in charging 101: read your info on what u got. In most of them it tells you to turn it on and use it until the item you got dies then you charge it, you can turn it on if u want to see it charging but don't play on it. An it's best to do when you can watch it, so charging it overnight is NOT good, because it will be done before you wake and over charging is not good. It makes the battery weak so holding a charge gets less and less over time. Never leave your cord in the wall when it's not charging your item. Power from the wall is still running through it and slowly frying it. Thats why people go thought many cords for one item. The reason for the first battery kill and then a full charge is a stronger battery life. It gives your battery about (but don't hold me to it) a 15% increase on life. So back to your question. It depends on the item and battery life it has when u pull it from the box. In most cases battery is about half full. Plus charging from a outlet lets say to a car charging is better and faster for your item. When most battery's are being made and tested in factory's it is a outlet that is being used. So most info on timing a charge is based on info gathered From tests done from a outlet

My tablet won't charge.why???please help!!

Is your battery removable? Try removing the battery and then plugging in the tablet. If the tablet runs on only the AC power, then your battery is shot.

Kindle wont charge

Not all computer USB ports put out enough current to charge batteries. Try another port on the computer, if there is one. If you're going through a USB hub, remove it and connect the Kindle directly to the computer. If you have access to an AC-USB charger (one that plugs into a wall outlet instead of a computer), try using that.

My pandigital tablet dont wanna charge

USB Connections
All tablets connect to your computer using a USB cable.
Once connected, the device should charge as long as the computer recognizes it.
Look for manufacturer-specific software to launch once you plug your tablet into your computer; if this software fails to launch, it's likely that your computer hasn't detected the device and won't charge it.
Try a second USB cable, if available, or plug the USB cable into a different port.
If the device doesn't charge in either port, replace the USB cable.

AC Adapters
Some tablets are sold with an accompanying AC power adapter, though these accessories are often optional.
Try plugging your tablet into its AC power connector in the event that its USB cable isn't functioning.
Also check different wall outlets in case the outlet you are plugging your tablet into is defective.
If the device fails to charge in different outlets, the AC adapter may be faulty.

Reboot Like any device with an operating system a computer, a mobile phone or an MP3 player tablet computers can freeze from time to time.
When a computer freezes, you can reboot or restart it to get the operating system working properly again.
This is true of tablets too, but rebooting these systems can be a little tricky.
Check the manufacturer's website for specific instructions to restart your system.
Putting the tablet to sleep and waking it up doesn't clear its memory look instead for the buttons for a "reset," which are different for every brand.
This may clear up any recent malfunctions, like freezing apps or charging issues.

Restore

Just like a computer, tablets sometimes need to be restored to their original state to overcome technical issues like charging problems.
Again, the process of restoring your tablet to its factory default differs from model to model and from brand to brand.
Check the manual or the manufacturer's website for specific instructions, but as a general rule: plug the tablet into your computer using the provided USB cable.
Wait for the appropriate software to load and then look for a "Restore" option.
Follow the onscreen prompts to restore the device.

How do I charge the iPad battery.

USB hubs typically don't generate the 10 watts necessary to charge an iPad when it's connected to your computer. This basically means you can't use your laptop to recharge your iPad.

Apple recommends finding an AC outlet and using 10-watt power adapter that came with your iPad.
