If you have a "subwoofer-out" jack on the back of the receiver, you can put a y-cord on it and connect it to two powered subwoofers. Don't expect a big difference in the sound, however. You may even get less bass depending on where you position the sub-woofers.

Okay, I'm dying to know why my response was rated only "helpful" instead of "fixya". Did this not work? Did I answer the wrong question? Just what...?

Where to purchase a subwoofer for my Jvc home theatre

You can get a complete refurbished JVC TH-A25 System on Amazon for $130. Individual components might be scarce or prohibitively expensive.

How do i connect aiwa speakers with 26

LG does not have direct speaker connectors. You will have to use the audio out RCA jacks on the set through RCA cables into a seperate amplifier. Hope this helps.

Instalation instructions required

Uhmmm. . .okay. . .I would use nothing less than 16AWG speaker cable. Do not run the speaker cable parallel in close proximity to any AC wiring. Speaker cable rated to run through walls with usually be color coded red and black. Connected the red to the red on the speaker and red on your home theatre receiver. Do the same for the black. If speaker cable insulation is clear, look closely for subtle markings or writing on the insulation. The writing will only be on one of the two wires. Designate that as the POS or PLUS or + or RED. Connected it to the red on the speaker and the red on the back of your home theatre receiver. The other is by default the black and connect it to like colors. Repeat for all 5, or 7 speakers in your theatre. Your subwoofer probably has a seperate amplifier, so it gets it's power from it's own AC power plug. . .so plug it in. The sound coming from the Home Theatre receiver will be low-power and will carry on an RCA cable. Look for the subwoofer output on the home theatre and connect it to the input on the subwoofer. There may be a right and a left input on the woofer. . .it doesn't matter which you plug it into. . .either one will do.

Have an existing ts-1100 home theatre infinity speakers

You cannot use this system with one that does not have a Subwoofer or LFE (Low Frequency Effect) output. Unfortunately, this sub doesn't have a line-level (speaker wire) input. Sorry.

Power issues: will not turn off or function

Unplug all of the speakers and power on.Its possible that one of the speakers is causing the protection circuit to activate. If powered on and subwoofer works start reconnecting one speaker at a time( after powered off) and retest each time. One Speaker may be bad.Its also possible the output ic is failing under a speaker load. There are no fuses related to this issue. If its not a speaker problem then the subwoofer will need to be serviced.

Please help with getting 5.1 sound from my TV!

You must run a Digital Optical cable from your PS3 to your reciever. Then press your function button on your recievers remote until you see SAT/CABLE on your recievers display. Next go to your PS3 settings and go to Sound settings, then Audio Output settings, and select Digital out (OPTICAL) then your done. This is the only way to get true digital sound from your PS3 to your reciever.
