Question about Kenmore Refrigerators
Does the switch turn off the lights? If the doors are not installed correctly the switch wont work properly. Check the switch first to make sure that be depressing switch the will shut off lights, if this does work, check the doors as they make contact with switch. It is possible your door are too low to make contact with switch, I have seen this happen on GE units as the door dropped out of alignment of the switch contact.
Good Luck, hope this helps

Testimonial: "LITES STAY ON EVEN WHEN YOU DEPRESS SWITCHES"
The GE GSL22JFPH refrigerator door gets lower over time. When it gets low enough the light stays on when the door closes. There is a vertical bolt along the hinge line. Push down the hinged plastic "hinge cover" under the door right on the hinge line and you can get a wrench on the bolt to raise the door. I have to do this every 6 months/
