My kyocera 180 machine print is very slow - Copystar Kyocera Taskalfa 181 Copier

Which password. Engineer, user, private printing?

All new copier/printer has safety pacageging SCREW /TAPES to prevent damage in traveling/shipping w/ it your Kyocera taskalfa 180 won't print, look for it and remove it all usually it is color orange 1 of them located at Optics unit .

I assume you are connecting via USB, the printer board on this is very basic and you have to make sure you have a good pc and the correct driver, try a smal page in notepad and then compare it to something in word and see the difference, I'm not sure if there is a memory upgrade for this machine if there is it may help.

replace fuser

I have a kyocera 181 copier when we switch on the machine it showing error message " shake the toner container' kindly do the needful or send me service manual as soon as possible

May need to look at manual. Make sure ink is good, paper in tray, drivers are installed on computers accessing it, connection is good. Perhaps try printing test page from printer to see if it functions at all

try to upgrade firmware

Go to www.copystar.com
look under black and white multifunctions, then choose your model.
after that select under the sub category print drivers.
It will gives you all the drivers for windows,mac,unix.

Note Copystar and kyocera same machines and same drivers.

C6400 is a fixing unit error.

To reset -

Try this, enter "10871087" from keypad, You should now be in maintenance mode.
Enter "163"press "Start / Print" key.

You should see a screen that says "Execute".

Cursor / highlight "Execute".

Press "Start / Print key.

The machine will turn off and should come back to ready. If not then you need to replace the fixing unit.
