When an incoming call comes in my motorola rokr rings once and then go directly to voicemail even if I press the answer key. What do I need to do to fix this problems?

Press.MENU/SELECT > Ans. Setup menu > Ring Time submenu
Select a Ring time - Toll Saver, 2, 4 or 6 rings. Press MENU/SELECT once again to get a confirmation tone. The Toll saver setting is for if you are checking voicemail on a Long distance call, the call rolls over to the voicemail immediately if there are new messages

By any chance do you have call forwarding turned on? That would account for the single ring and the unfamiliar voicemail. Call forwarding is a service provided by your phone company or cable voice company which allows you to transfer incoming calls to another phone number, such as a cell phone. It's usually activated by pressing a key sequence (such as *72) and entering the number of the phone that you want to receive your calls. It's easy to turn it on and then forget to turn it off. You can turn it off with another key sequence, such as *73. Contact your phone company for the correct code.

Please check if any call divert or incoming call barring (found at settings menu) are actives .

If the voicemail it goes to is the on site voicemail, then try canceling call forwarding of the phone associated with the mailbox that gets the message by pressing FEATURE #4 from that phone. If the voicemail it goes to is an external voicemail as in that of a cellphone then try canceling line redirection by pressing #84 then press the line to cancel redirection on. Repeat for additional lines.

I THINK THE RIBBON OF YOUR PHONE ARE DAMAGED..REPLACED IS NEEDED...

Voicemail is answering the calls. you need to program the system for voicemail and this will stop

type ##002# and press OK. It will erase all call divert.

do a master reset and clear of the phone

i would got into your voicemail settings and check to see if you have it set to ring once then straight to vmail.. i'm not sure how your phone is set up completely but i would assume you can adjust the amount of rings before vmail picks up.. is this phone new to you?

there is nothing you can do about the delay as it's the time it takes for the bluetooth to send the signal to your earpiece to tell it the call is answered, the only way to stop any delay is to set your phone to auto answer in the bluetooth headphone settings or in the call settings.
